Environment

Our patients, families, and friends are provided with a fun, cheerful, caring, and positive environment. The office is designed especially with your child/children in mind. Our multimedia area and fun-filled playroom is to help make your child's visit a positive and exciting experience. Our goal is to make your child/children build and maintain a positive attitude towards dental care.
Sterilization

We pride ourselves with the newest technology in sterilization. Our new state-of-the-art "Triangle" sterilization system adheres to the highest standards and methods of sterilization procedures. This is for our protection, as well as your child's.
Emergency Treatment

Children's Dentistry of Woodstock is available 7 days a week and 24 hours a day in case of an emergency. If the emergency occurs after regular business hours, we will still be available.
Oral Hygiene/Prevention

Good oral hygiene is a very important part in the health of your child. Oral hygiene has a significant influence on the formation of cavities. When teeth are not cleaned properly and regularly, the decay-causing acids remain in the mouth and on the teeth for a long period of time, leading to enamel that is likely to be weakened and more susceptible to decay. Therefore, proper brushing and flossing is key to help prevent decay. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child/children be seen within their first year. Even though your child will not have all of his/her primary (baby) teeth in at this time, it is important for the pediatric dentist to examine your child's mouth to make sure that no problems exist or will be encountered. This visit is also aimed at educating parents and providing anticipatory guidance for the prevention of dental disease. After the first visit, your child will need to be seen at age 2 and then 3.
